Apple’s first smart display is the 7-inch HomeView for $299

A smart display is a small screen that sits at home and answers to voice. Apple's HomeView uses its camera to tell family members apart, showing up to six people their own apps and messages, and it can display nine camera feeds at once. Siri requests run on the device or in Private Cloud Compute, where data is not stored or accessible to Apple.
