Google will automatically move Gemini Gems to Skills from 17 November

Gems, Google's saved custom instructions for Gemini, are becoming Skills: reusable recipes you call with a slash command, or let Gemini apply when it sees fit, and several can run in one task. Google says existing Gems will move over automatically from November 17, though it has not said whether files or share links carry across. Skills currently require an AI Pro or Ultra subscription.
